Jude Law faces a $17million divorce bill from ex-wife Sadie Frost.

The staggering demand, made at a High Court last week, includes a C$12million lump sum and the $8.5million London home the couple once shared.

Jude would also have to pay out an extra $35,000-a-month living allowance for Sadie and the pair’s three children, Iris, Rafferty and Rudy.

If agreed, the tough terms could spell an end to the seven months of bitter fighting which followed the pair’s ‘qickie divorce’ last October.

A source close to the couple told Britain’s News of the World newspaper: “Sadie reckons the $17million lump sum is just a third of his income from the last year, in which he’s done three films.

“A monthly allowance of $35,000 sounds a lot to the normal man on the street, but it’s a sensible amount for Jude to give Sadie. He’s the big earner out of the two of them. And there are children’s nannies to be paid, as well as private school tuition.”

Jude, who is romancing ‘Alfie’ co-star Sienna Miller, has made stipulations about the settlement.
