Matrix Divorce Heats Up

The divorce battle between trilogy cocreator Larry Wachowski and his estranged wife ratcheted up Tuesday, with the wife accusing the writer-director of reneging on a prenup.
The allegations were contained in a breach-of-contract lawsuit filed in Los Angeles, City News Service reported.
The suit by Thea Bloom claims she and Wachowski, now 38, “orally agreed that [they] were a ‘team’ and equal partne s” and would jointly enjoy “the fruits of their labor” upon their moving in together in 1985, per the wire service.
The couple wed on Oct. 30, 1993.
